The Wenzelite Star Posterior (Reverse) Gait Trainer is a heavy duty, latex-free gait trainer for adults with special needs who require assistance to walk. The Adult Posterior Gait Trainer has an adjustable handle height of 29” – 36” (72.5 – 90 cm).
The Adult Star Gait Trainer is recommended for individuals that present with decreased trunk control and walk best with the padded optional trunk support in the rear. The posterior gait trainer frame prompts individuals to stand upright rather than lean forward, thus improving posture and walking.
Easily height adjustable, the Star Gait Trainer comes standard with support features to accommodate adults in schools and therapy of varying heights and levels of physical disabilities. Optional support accessories are available separately to increase stability for adults with poor trunk control or need the arms supported to maintain a more upright standing posture.
Therapists, teachers, and caregivers will love the Star Gait Trainer for adults with increased muscle tone in the lower body that require ankle prompts, helping to prevent scissoring and maximize functional ambulation at home, school, and in the community.
