Convaid Adult size Cruiser Stroller... ultra-lightweight stroller construction weighs only 27 lb. (12 kg), but it is strong enough to endure a 30 mph crash test with a 170 lb. (77 kg) crash mannequin! The stroller frame is constructed of aluminum and steel. Stroller frame parts are finished in a blend of both baked enamel and anodized aluminum, which keeps maintenance to a minimum.
The stroller seat surface is oriented in space 30 degrees from the floor plane for posture management. Additionally the stroller seat to back angle adjusts in 5 degree increments for posture management. The Optional Heavy Duty Seat provides a seat and back reinforced with nylon stiffeners to prevent slouching and to provide an upright seating posture. Foot Rests are included as standard equipment, and are adjustable and swing away.
Four heavy duty nylon 8" (20 cm) diameter stroller wheels with micro-cellular polyurethane tires provide lasting durability. Front stroller wheels swivel to provide lots of maneuvering in and out of tight places. Two independently operated rear brakes also provide an added margin of safety.
