Combining over 100 plus years of equipment experience for children with special needs, the designers at Dreamer Design have produced what is sure to be, a highly popular and acclaimed all terrain, indoor/outdoor mobility system. The NEW Axiom ‘Ability Xplorer Indoor & Outdoor Mobility’ equipment line is an exceptionally designed series of pediatric special needs strollers that are capable of so much more than an average stroller style pushchair.
With 16” pneumatic, Alloy wheels and interchangeable 8” swivels, the Axiom jogger style strollers are extremely versatile for almost any kind of outdoor or indoor activity you and your family desire! The Axiom pediatric special needs stroller is a jogger stroller, stroller style pushchair, reclining all terrain stroller and indoor positioning stroller in one convenient mobility seating system.
The Axiom Size 3 special needs all-terrain, jogger stroller accommodate a child approximately 11 to 17 years old. Maximum weight capacity is 200 lbs. A heavy-duty one-step adjustable H-harness is included to maximize trunk support while using the indoor, outdoor mobility stroller. Adjustments can also be made to the leg rest to increase the support area for the growing child with special needs. The seat angle is also adjustable from 0° to 18° of recline to provide additional head and trunk support for children with mild to moderate physical involvement.
Unlike most all terrain strollers that contain a handbrake only, Dreamer Design, being focused on safety, has also included a rear footbrake. This footbrake serves to keep the stroller steady while fastening and unfastening the child from the seat. The reflective fabric of the stroller is also a safety feature for parents out for a stroll at dusk in the upcoming spring and summer months.
Please note that the Axiom size 3 has a seat width of 18", seat depth of 15", and a 31" backrest height. Please review all measurements before making your selection.
