The Axiom Size 3 Special Needs Indoor/Outdoor Mobility Push Chair accommodate a child approximately 12 to 15 years old and approximately 59"-64" (150-163 cm) in height. Maximum weight capacity is 200 lbs. A heavy-duty one-step adjustable H-harness is included to maximize trunk support while using the Indoor/Outdoor Mobility Push Chair. Adjustments can also be made to the leg rest to increase the support area for the growing child with special needs. The seat angle is also adjustable from 0° to 30° of recline to provide additional head and trunk support for children with mild to moderate physical involvement.
Unlike most all terrain strollers that contain a handbrake only, Adaptive Star being focused on safety, has also included a rear footbrake. This footbrake serves to keep the stroller steady while fastening and unfastening the child from the seat. The reflective fabric of the stroller is also a safety feature for parents out for a stroll at dusk in the upcoming spring and summer months.
Please note that the Axiom size 3 has a seat width of 18", seat depth of 15", and a 31" backrest height. Please review all measurements before making your selection.
