The Small Adult is the largest size Carrie Seat. The Carrie Seat meets USA FMVSS 213 Car Seat Standards when used without the Footrest. The Carrie Seat also meets the Canadian Car Seat Standards (NCSVA #213.3). You should understand that FMVSS has regulations that apply only to children up to 40 pounds. Even though there are no applicable FMVSS regulations for this large seat, the Small Adult Carrie Seat is constructed like the smaller seats that fall within the regulation. Take the Small Adult Seat anywhere to any restaurant, or any theme park! It is easily handled in combination with the Carrie Rover Chair Base (stroller-like pushchair).

The Small Adult Carrie Seat has several standard features. The Safety Harness is an effective positioning strap. The Safety Tether doubles as a restraining strap to keep the Carrie Seat in the Rover Chair (stroller-like chair) with a "click". The Head-Neck Support helps hold the neck and head in mid line without putting pressure on the occipital region.

The Small Adult size functions as a companion chair when positioned into an existing chair. Two sets of Securing Straps are attached that can pass around the back of a kitchen-like chair or wheelchair. The Carrie Seat can then be safely put on a variety of sitting surfaces that may already be in the home or school. Tilt in space is easily achieved with its free standing feature. Tilt it back, or set it upright!

A person recommended for the Small Adult size should be approximately 58"-68" (147-173 cm) tall and close to 60-130 lb. (27-59 kg) in weight. Hip Width should range from 12"-16" (31-41 cm) with summer clothing. Thigh Depth should not be shorter than 14" (36 cm), but can be longer than the charted 18" (46 cm).
