Challenger Bicycles
Reha Partner designs all of their equipment to answer the needs of the children, parents and caregivers of children with special needs. The Challenger Bicycles were built for therapeutic progression. Unlike special needs tricycles, these unique Challenger Bicycles are more like typical bicycles for special needs children.
Each special needs Challenger bicycle comes standard with adjustable training wheels. These allow parents, caregivers, and therapists a safe and easy way to decrease the amount of support the wheels offer the child while still providing a stable base as the child works to increase his or her balance. The overall goal is to maximize functional, independent riding abilities in all children with physical disabilities. What better way to achieve improved strength, endurance, and socialization with peers then to give children with special needs a way to join their siblings and friends for a bike ride.
Available in two sizes, the Challenger Bicycles come standard with all of the features you would expect from a high quality special needs bicycle. The Challenger bicycles feature easy to use drum and disc brakes, rear guide handles, safety tail and headlights, a direct drive system for easy pedaling and so much more. Parents will love the Challenger’s split frame design that allows for each bicycle to be separated in two, more compact pieces for storage or transport. Each Challenger bicycle is specifically designed to grow with the child, ensuring years of fun!
