The Standard Gator Gait Trainer gives children the opportunity to bear weight on both feet, develop weight-shifting skills and balance, improve the quality of movement, and increase lower body strength. The Standard Gator Gait Trainer helps improve endurance and overall gross motor abilities needed for walking.

The physical benefits of walking are just the beginning. Giving children the ability to walk increases their interaction with their environments and other children. Walking helps maximize their independence with daily activities and enhances learning through exploration.

The Standard Gator Gait Trainer is lightweight and folds easily for transport. The Standard Gator Gait Trainer weighs 14 lbs. and measures 18" in width. It has a maximum user height of 45" (age range 18 months to 8 years). Weight capacity is 75 lbs. The handle height adjusts from 13.5"-27".

Comfortable foam grip prevents slipping and helps to maintain control. The foam grip is for children who are able to grab a standard handle grip. The Hand-Stop Bicycle Grip is used for children that have weak hand muscles. The "stop" at the end of the handle allows them to have something to push off of.

The standard rotational handles allow custom positioning to meet each child’s specific handgrip needs. Adjusts with a set screw for more precise positioning of the handle grip. According to need, the adjustment location can vary left to right, and up and down.

The Standard Gator Gait Trainer comes standard with firm rubber swivel castors, and swivel lock pins that provide straight or variable tracking movement. Anti-Reverse Wheel Stops are also a standard feature. A rear frame bumper helps protect your furniture. The strong steel walker frame comes in vibrant yellow, red or bright blue.
