The TherAdapt Intermediate Supine Stander is 60” (150 cm) in overall height. This stander will accommodate an elementary and secondary school age child with special needs.
The TherAdapt Supine Stander is recommended for the individual who is new to standing, has low muscle tone, or presents with extension dominant movement in the trunk and lower extremities. TherAdapt also makes an important note that alignment of the weight bearing joints is essential for successful positioning in the Supine Stander.
Ideal for home, school, and therapy center use, the Intermediate Supine Stander is easily adaptable and adjustable to support the growing child as well as multiple children of varying sizes and weight bearing abilities.
A sliding rear support bar has been designed to adjust the Supine Stander angle from 5° to 35° from the upright position. This unique feature allows therapists, teachers and parents a way to quickly and easily adjust the level of weight bearing required by a child involved in a standing program.
The TherAdapt Intermediate Supine Stander comes standard with non-swivel casters to tip the stander after use and move out of the way. The stander frame can also lay flat for storage.
