KAYE Walker Wagons

The KAYE Walker Wagon was designed to provide a stable support for early walking motion, for children 1 to 4 years.

It provides support and stability for children with hypotonia due to developmental delays who often lack confidence to begin ambulation.

Good body image is achieved from standing within the Kaye Walker Wagon. Both side walls give lateral reference to encourage linear strides. The handle helps with balance skills and also acts as an anterior tactile reference. As the child takes each step, a view of the Walker Wagon moving forward provides an awareness of self, relative to the Walker Wagon boundaries. Self-awareness is enriched with the cause and effect of early walking motion combined with the forward rolling motion of the Walker Wagon.
