The Medium Columbia Medical Contour Hi-Back Wrap-Around Bath Support is specifically designed for secondary school age children and teenagers with special needs. By helping to reduce extensor thrusting by children with increased muscle tone, the Wrap-Around Bath Support can be a beneficial positioning aid for long sitting in the bathtub, small children’s pool, beach, or even on the living room floor.

The Contour Wrap-Around Bath Support provides increased trunk support for the child that requires minimal to moderate assistance to maintain an upright seated position. Long-leg sitting is encouraged as well as “tailor" sitting which is great for floor-time activities and peer interaction. The Contour Wrap-Around Bath Support is also light weight and easily portable, making it the perfect bathing support solution for children with special needs and their families.

It is a Hi-back support that is 13" (32.5 cm) wide at the lateral chest area. Its top edge adjusts from 19-24" (48-60 cm) from the floor. The overall dimensions have an outside Width of 17" (43 cm), seat fabric area is 14.5" (39 cm) deep, total Length is 28" (71 cm).

An optional padded support cushion made of seamless and sealed urethane is available separately. It increases comfort and conform to individuals without the cold and hard surface characteristics of the hard plastic. What results is better positioning control and longer sitting tolerance. Bear in mind the inside width of the support will be reduced by 1". Please note that the padded back cushion is sold separately and comes in Blue Only.
