Leckey Discovery & Explorer Gait Trainers

Leckey has designed the Discovery and Explorer Gait Trainers with interchangeability in mind as well as support and stability. The Discovery Gait Trainer is expertly constructed with a wheelbase kit specifically designed for indoor walking, while the Explorer Gait Trainer includes a highly durable, outdoor wheelbase kit for walking over rougher terrain. With ease, the wheelbases on both the Discovery and the Explorer gait trainers can be interchanged for walking indoors and outdoors, eliminating the need for two separate gait trainers for different types of terrain. Both the Discovery and Explorer gait trainers are available in 3 sizes for children with mild to moderate physical involvement. The Size 1 Discovery and Explorer gait trainers are recommended for children ages 1 ½ to 4 years. The Size 2 gait trainers are recommended for children 4-8 years old, while the Size 3 gait trainers are for children ages 8-12 years. We know the importance of proper positioning.
