The Convaid Lite Rider is a newly designed, latex-free, ultra-lightweight umbrella style stroller for children and adolescents with special needs. With the rear legs, caster stems, fabric tubes, and axle brackets being made out of lightweight, sturdy aluminum, the Convaid Lite Rider weighs in 3 lbs. less than the Convaid EZ Rider. Convaid has successfully redesigned the superior frame of the EZ Rider to make it even lighter and easier to transport children with special needs.

The Convaid Lite Rider is designed for the less involved person with some upper body control. The seat angle is fixed at 10° from the horizontal so the child will be positioned upright so he can see straight ahead. The Lite Rider comes with an adjustable seat depth for growth, height adjustable swing-away footplates, and washable fabric in your choice of five vibrant colors.

The 14" Lite Rider special needs stroller comes with a 14" (35.5 cm) seat width and adjustable seat depth of 11.5" to 14.5" (29-37 cm). The standard 6" front and 8" rear solid, microcellular polyurethane tires will provide a smooth ride over most surfaces. Optional pneumatic tires are available separately for more rugged outdoor terrain. The three point positioning belt and depth adjustable crotch strap also come standard with the Convaid Lite Rider special needs stroller.
