Metro 18 Transit Stroller is strong enough to endure a 30 mph crash test at 20g deceleration in a forward facing configuration using a five point tie-down system. For safety, three-point seat belts are standard equipment.

The Metro 18 Transit Stroller is an economical and durable stroller style push chair. Metro 18 Transit Stroller seat width measures 18" (45.5 cm). Recommended user target height is 66" (165 cm) to 76" (190 cm) which translates to a "normal" age range estimate from 16 year old to adult. Weight limit is 170 lb. (77 kg).

The lightweight Metro 18 Transit Stroller construction weighs only 29 lb. (13 kg) and folds like an umbrella style stroller for compact storage. The Convaid Metro comes standard with an easy, one step rear locking brace for increased safety and convenience.

Now with wider, heavy duty solid wheels provide lasting durability, two 8" Front, and 11" rear, the Convaid Metro is smoother, more stable, and more comfortable than before over uneven terrain. Front stroller wheels swivel to provide lots of maneuvering in and out of tight places.

The Metro stroller comes complete with foot-plates. They swing independently out to the way for easy entry, and are height adjustable. Mesh seat back for ventilation. The Metro stroller cannot be adapted to fit Convaid options offered on other chairs.
