Odyssey Chair – Early Childhood

The Odyssey Chair is an adjustable chair designed to provide support for children with mild to severe positioning needs.

The adjustability available in the Odyssey Chair provides multiple positioning accessory options and endless adjustments for growth. The Odyssey chair can be used in several settings: home, classroom, and clinical settings for treatment and evaluation.

The Odyssey Chair is made of laminated phenolic – a strong material that is very durable. The Odyssey Chair seat, back and footrest surfaces are made of wood. The Odyssey Chair seat position can be changed to meet the needs for each child: low for independent transfers to high for children to reach higher table-tops. The Odyssey Chair is stable to allow a child to independently climb in and out of the chair. The Odyssey Chair seat and back can be adjusted for depth and angle to individualize the positioning for each child. And the Odyssey Chair back also has angle adjustability from 0 – 30 degrees back in space, giving some recline.

There is an Odyssey Upgrade Kit available that allows the Early Childhood Chair to grow to a Secondary size chair without purchasing a whole new chair! A great cost saver for families & Schools!
