Ready Racer is a pre-wheelchair pediatric mobility aid that combines high-performance wheelchair handling with sports-car styling. It will improve perceptual-motor skills, strengthen the arms and upper trunk and allow the child to play at peer level. Designed for indoor use, the Ready Racer maneuvers in tight places, moves easily over carpet and rough surfaces and requires minimal arm strength.
The lightweight, high-density foam chassis is covered with moisture-proof, easy-to-clean Tumble Forms coating. Other features include: an ergonomic seat with 15 degree knee flexion and 90 degree seat-to-back relationship; pneumatic tires and a front swivel caster for smooth ease of steering; leg and trunk supports; low-front design for easy self-transfer; 45 degree hip strap belt.
Ready Racer measures 35" x 20" (89 x 51 cm). Inner seat dimensions: 9 1/2"W x 23"L x 13 1/2"H (24 x 58 x 34 cm). Adjustable-Height Handle adjusts in height 24" - 36" (61 - 91 cm).

The Ready Racer Push Handle must be purchased separately. It is sturdy and has a foam handle cover. It attaches to the base of the chassis with common tools. The Push Handle adjusts in height form 24" - 36" (61 - 91 cm) to accommodate children or adults. It will provide both convenience and an opportunity for social play.
