Description

From Convaid, a lightweight, detachable Cordura fabric canopy to provide protection from sun or rain. This Convaid Extended Canopy - With Windows has three panels to provide coverage of your child's head and body. This Canopy provides extended protection from sunlight as well as the environment and features a peekaboo window with a zipper pocket along with side windows that allow additional airflow.

PLEASE NOTE: Convaid Canopies are ONLY available in the Cordura Fabric. If your push chair/stroller has the Textilene Fabric Upholstery, you will be sent a Black Cordura Canopy automatically. If your push chair/stroller has the Cordura Fabric, you will be sent a canopy in the matching Cordura Fabric color.

Excellent design and performance
We had used a Convaid stroller for some years so we knew it would last many years. We just started using the new (larger size) model we bought and found it has the right measures and performance, and would recommend this product. Also the people from Adaptivemall were very helpful in the selection of the right product and size for our particular needs.

Easy for transport
This is our fifth Convaid and is a very easy model to work with. Would recommend an attachable bag to carry items.

Process was seamless
This is our third stroller purchase from you and once again the process was seamless. It was delivered when promised and the quality the same.

Really awkward
It does make some shade, but when folded it sticks up so far that the rider can't be seen.

Have used the Convaid brand chairs for years. For the most part, I am happy with the products. The ideal would be to design my own specific chair for my daughter's needs, but the cruiser is the best fit for her. Only wish that it came with more padding on the seat and back. We have to purchase a separate seat cushion for her to prevent pressure sores.
ProsNot big and hard to deal with in shops and restaurants.
ConsNeeds more cushioning even with cordura fabric. More options to make sitting straighter an option but still having tilted seat angle.

Excellent for travel/visiting friends
This chair is lightweight compared to a wheelchair and makes it easier to get around when we travel or visit friends/family that have inaccessible housing. We have used it for trips by plane (folds down because it is a "stroller"). As for visiting friends, this is much lighter to lift up steps than a conventional wheelchair (approx. 29-32lbs vs. 50 lbs.+) It has many positioning aids, so you can order what you need. We ordered our first one in 2008, and have just bought our second one because it gives our family more freedom to do things.

Unlike other websites, the Adaptivemall.com offers TRUE FREE Shipping including most typical over-sized items such as Vestibulators, Standers and Gait Trainers.

Shipping
Standard Shipments are sent via commercial ground carriers such as UPS, FedEx, etc. Your order will travel by regular ground service which usually takes 3-10 working days for delivery once your order leaves the warehouse. Please note that not all items are in stock, many are made to order and may take longer before they are ready to leave the warehouse.



Air Service
Next Day Air, 2nd Day Service, or 3rd Day Service shipping charges will be emailed before your credit card is charged. Please monitor your email and reply as soon as possible so your order is not delayed. Your order will not be processed until you authorize the shipping charges.





World
Shipping charges to Hawaii, Alaska, and all APO Addresses will be emailed for each specific order before your credit card is charged. Please monitor your email and reply as soon as possible so your order is not delayed. Your order will not be processed until you authorize the shipping charges.

For International Customers, Adaptivemall.com will pay for shipping your order to the US domestic port of departure (within the 48 contiguous US) as if you were a domestic customer. However, the shipping charges for overseas destinations including any taxes and duties imposed by your own government must be paid by you, the international customer (consignee). Not all products can be shipped internationally, and shipments to certain countries may not be available.


Receiving Dock
Do you have a Receiving Dock? Due to the cumbersome size and weight of certain products (For example: Beds By George products), the manufacturer requires a Moving Company deliver these products indoors for an additional charge. Curbside delivery is included. However, if we will be delivering to a school or facility with a receiving dock, please let us know and other arrangements can be made.





Sinature Required
Signature Required for Delivery Adaptivemall.com requires a signature for items valued at $250 or over. Please be aware that these items will not be delivered without adult signature.







Moving Company delivery is for safety and costs an extra $275.00. This delivery service includes:

  • Delivery by a moving company.

  • The movers will consolidate the order.

  • Delivery inside to room of choice.

  • Removal of rubbish.

1) Keep your original carton and packing materials for safe transport! Please carefully repack the items in their original packaging so they are secure and tight inside the box. Utilize any plastic bags that came with your order - they protect items from vibration during shipping.

You must have a Return Authorization number to ensure that your return is processed.


Some important notes about returns:
