The Footplate Securement Strap is used to connect the Right & Left Footplate after the user is secured into the pushchair. This strap is used to stabilize the footplates, making them function like a one-piece footplate. This is helpful if your child lifts his/her feet up making the footplates go up and down. The Footplate Securement Strap needs to be unclipped to fold the pushchair. Picture is of the underside of the footplates.
