Jameson is 6 years old and has mostly nonverbal autism. Jameson is very smart and very funny. He loves to be silly and loves getting tickles. He loves music and dancing, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and pizza. He loves bubble baths and going to the zoo. He is obsessed with fish and aquariums. Despite his developmental delays and difficulties communicating, Jameson knows his alphabet and colors, can count to 100, and can name all the planets and dwarf planets. And he can navigate his autism learning apps on his tablet.
He is very active and would love to do more things outside of our home, but we have been restricted to our home for a very long time. Jameson has outgrown "normal" strollers, but walking is not a real option for him. He does not understand/follow simple commends like "stop" or "no", so that is a big safety issue. But even on his harness, if he has a meltdown or shutdown, we are unable to get him back to our car because of his size. Having an adaptive stroller like this is imperative to his quality of life! Please consider helping us reach this goal so that Jameson can once again get out of the house and so that we can once again do things together as a family. Thank you!
