**For the health and welfare of others, we regret that we cannot allow toileting or bathing/shower product returns because of sanitary and personal hygiene reasons. Some manufacturers will not permit returns on certain products. Due to the custom, hand-made nature of Beds by George products, beds and accessories are not returnable. Please check with Customer Service if you have any questions.
There are certain things you must do in the event of a return.- Keep your original carton and packing materials for safe transport! Please carefully repack the items in their original packaging so they are secure and tight inside the box. Utilize any plastic bags that came with your order - they protect items from vibration during shipping.
- Contact us within 30 days of the receipt of the products. Email us or call us for return instructions and a Return Authorization number.
You must have a Return Authorization number to ensure that your return is processed.
Some important notes about returns:- You will be responsible for the return shipping cost. To protect yourself, use a delivery service that has a tracking # and insurance. A refund will not be given on merchandise that is lost by the carrier.
- If you paid a shipping fee on your original order for expedited, international or other shipping it is Non-Refundable even upon return of your order.
- Please note that returns may go back to a different location than they originated from. If you return an item to our warehouse in New York without a Return Authorization Number the cost we incur to ship the item to the manufacturer's warehouse on your behalf will be deducted from the amount of your credit, if any.
If the item cannot be made re-sellable you have the option of:- Paying to have the item delivered back to you.
- Adjustment to credit for a 25% Disposal Fee.

The R82 Mustang Gait Trainer Walker is a heavy duty, versatile gait training system for children with special needs. The R82 gait trainer can be configured as a posterior gait trainer or anterior gait trainer. The Mustang Gait Trainer's lightweight, foldable frame makes it easy to transport, so your child can walk wherever their busy life takes them.
The R82 Mustang Gait Trainer Walker comes standard with a circumferential Chest Support to stabilize the child’s trunk. It is height and width adjustable. In Step 1 please choose the appropriate size Chest Support for your child in the dropdown box above.
Chest Support Choices:
- Small: Inner Circumference 18.5-25.25 in. (47-64.1cm) Width Range 6-8.5 in. (15.2-21.6cm)
- Medium: Inner Circumference 26.25-30.75 in. (66.7-78.1cm) Width Range 9.5-12 in. (24.1-30.5)
- Large: Inner Circumference 34.25-44.75 in. (87-113.7cm) Width Range 11-14.25 in. (27.9-36.2cm)
Also in Step 1, there is a choice of Casters for each size of the Mustang. Please note that not all choices are available for each size frame. Please refer to choices in the drop down box. Please refer to photo gallery under main product image to view pictures of wheel choices. There are Brakes, Direction Locks, a Dial to Adjust Wheel Tension (resistance to wheel turning), and Anti-Reverse Wheel Stop Lock/Release for all four wheels for all wheel choices.
Wheel Choices:
- 4 in. Casters for Size 1 and 2 Frames ONLY
- 8 in. Casters
- 8 in Casters Slim Line Wheels
In Step 2, you have the option to add Forearm Support, which can help with upper trunk and head control by providing a surface for the user to bear weight on their forearms. Forearm Support with handles can also aid steering. You can also choose to add Decelerating Hand Brakes.
- Arm Rests with Handles for Anterior Use: These are wide, padded surfaces designed for use with the Mustang's anterior configuration only. Available in two sizes: Small (for frame sizes 1 & 2) and Large (for frame sizes 3 & 4).
- Arm Prompts with Handle for Anterior or Posterior Use: A padded arm trough that cradles the forearm, providing support and stability. These can be used with either anterior or posterior configurations however they are configuration specific and cannot be used for both configurations. Available in three sizes: Small (for frame size 1), Medium (for frame sizes 2 &3) and Large (for frame size 4). The Arm Prompts with Handle allow you to add Decelerating Hand Brakes if desired. The Brakes function like bicycle hand brakes to slow the gait trainer's forward motion. This can be especially useful on inclined surfaces. Brakes can also be locked to serve as a parking brake.
- Padded Forearm Positioner Strap: Sold individually, this strap helps the user maintain their forearm in a weight-bearing position on the support.
Height adjustment of the Mustang is assisted by a gas piston and controlled by a pedal. The center frame is also angle adjustable to offer anterior (forward) or posterior (back) lean.
Optional accessories can be added to increase head, trunk, and pelvic stability for children with Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Muscular Dystrophy and other physical disabilities. With the R82 Mustang Gait Trainer, a child with mild to more severe levels of physical involvement will be given the positioning support to interact with his or her peers in the classroom, community, and at home.
The gait trainer system has enormous physical and psychosocial benefits for children with special needs. It is designed to improve strength, endurance, coordination, motor planning, and digestive functioning through upright movement.
