Crafted from durable, waterproof materials overlaying inflatable chambers that provide the structure for the frame, the Safe Place Travel Bed provides a robust and secure environment for individuals 3 years and older who have outgrown the safety of a typical crib. Enclosed beds are commonly used for individuals with autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, sleep walking and developmental disabilities. Set-up is quick and easy. A familiar and safe place to rest is created in minutes. The Zipper has a locking mechanism that can be used for additional security as needed. The Travel Bed has been designed to withstand significant movement, kicking and biting. Its lightweight and compact design and included Carrying Bag ensures easy transportation via plane, train, bus, or car.

Recent Improvements to the Safe Place Model 100 Travel Bed include:

• Enhanced Safety with Cloth Covering: Features a durable cloth covering with an internal inflatable skeleton, providing a protective layer against biting and preventing access to the inflatable tubes.
• Individual Chamber System: The internal inflatable skeleton is now made up of four separate inflatable chambers, allowing for individual replacement if needed, extending the life of the travel bed.
• Improved Accessibility with Upward Opening Doors: The door now opens upward and there is not an inflated chamber at the entrance of the door, eliminating the need for users to climb over barriers when getting in and out of bed.
• Increased Stability with Four Secure Straps: Four sturdy straps now hold the travel bed securely to the stationary bed, providing enhanced stability and safety compared to the previous two-strap system.
• Full Coverage Incontinence Pad: The included incontinence pad is now designed to fit the entire bottom of the travel bed, offering maximum protection and simplifying cleanup after accidents.
