There are certain things you must do in the event of a return.
1) Keep your original carton and packing materials for safe transport! Please carefully repack the items in their original packaging so they are secure and tight inside the box. Utilize any plastic bags that came with your order - they protect items from vibration during shipping.
2) Contact us within 30 days of the receipt of the products. Email us or call us for return instructions and a Return Authorization number.
You must have a Return Authorization number to ensure that your return is processed.
Some important notes about returns:- You will be responsible for the return shipping cost. To protect yourself, use a delivery service that has a tracking # and insurance. A refund will not be given on merchandise that is lost by the carrier.
- If you paid a shipping fee on your original order for expedited, international or other shipping it is Non-Refundable even upon return of your order.
- Please note that returns may go back to a different location than they originated from. If you return an item to our warehouse in New York without a Return Authorization Number the cost we incur to ship the item to the manufacturer's warehouse on your behalf will be deducted from the amount of your credit, if any.

Built with an anatomically contoured, deep polyethylene seat shell, it offers built-in lateral (side) leg and torso guides that securely hold children and young adults who require complex postural management. Its robust, water-resistant stainless-steel chassis ensures long-term durability in wet environments, while the overall frame layout is designed to roll smoothly over standard home or facility toilets.
One of its standout features is the smooth, foot-pedal-operated gas spring mechanism that allows for continuous tilt-in-space positioning from -5° to 30°, accommodating both active and passive sitting needs while easing the physical strain on caregivers during transfers and showering. Available in five distinct sizes with a weight capacity reaching up to 330 lbs. (150 kg) on the largest model, the Boris offers many accessories—including removable pressure-relieving insert pads, height-adjustable headrest, swing-away armrest, commode pan, and dedicated positioning harnesses—to create a tailored, safe, and dignified bathroom experience.
Step 1: Select Chair Size (required), Add Comfort Pad (Optional)
Choose the frame size that best fits your child using size chart found under Size Chart tab. Critical measurements are Seat Width, Seat Depth and Back Height. Click here for help with measurements. Seat height is adjustable in 1” (2.5 cm) steps and is reflected in the clearance over toilet measurement in the size chart.
Understanding the "B" Option - For frame sizes 3 and 4, you will see options for 3B and 4B. The "B" refers to a larger, wider contoured hygiene opening designed to provide better alignment and clearance for larger or adolescent users. To see exactly how it compares to the standard size, check out the comparison illustration located under the main product image.
Optional Add-on: 2-Piece Comfort Insert Pad - Enhance the molded plastic seat shell with this soft polyurethane overlay. The two-piece design includes a seat pad and back pad that easily snap directly onto the shell for added comfort and quick cleaning.
Step 2: Add Headrest Support & Torso Support (Optional)
The Headrest is adjustable in height and angle and is recommended for the tilt-in-space feature of this chair. The Boris features a gas-spring assisted, stepless tilt-in-space mechanism (from -5° to 30°). Once the optimal angle of tilt has been achieved the foot pedal can be locked in with the spring pin. If your child has compromised head control, it is highly recommended to add the headrest. Tilting a child without proper head support makes it difficult to maintain a safe and comfortable position during bathing.
The Vest & Mounting Bracket adds anterior (front) torso support. Constructed from a quick-drying mesh fabric, it features convenient snaps at the hips and shoulders for easy release prior to transfers. A bracket that mounts directly to the head support tube is included. Sizes Available: 10.2" (26cm), 11.4" (29cm), and 13.7" (34.8cm) widths. Please Note: Headrest Support is Required to mount Vest.
Step 3: Add Arm Support (Optional)
To give your child a place to rest their arms or to provide a surface for ADL’s, select the matching polyurethane Arm Support/ Padded Table. It mounts securely to the stainless-steel chassis and conveniently swings away to ensure smooth, unhindered transfers. Please refer to Size Chart tab for technical measurements of Arm Support. Note: Choose the Arm Support size that matches the frame size chosen in Step 1.
Step 4: Add Commode Pail with Lid (Optional)
The molded plastic seat features a built-in opening that allows the chair to be rolled directly over a standard toilet (see Size Chart tab for clearance). Adding the Commode Pail allows the chair to function as a convenient, standalone commode anywhere it is needed. Note: Choose the Commode Pail size category that corresponds with the frame size chosen in Step 1.
Step 5: Add Abductor Wedge / Splash Guard (Optional)
This multi-functional polyurethane wedge acts as both a prompt for hip abduction (keeping legs properly separated) and a highly effective splash/spray guard. Note: Choose the Abductor Wedge/Splash Guard size category that corresponds with the frame size chosen in Step 1.
Step 6: Add Footrest Support (Optional)
A height and angle-adjustable footrest that provides reliable lower extremity positioning and stability during tilting (moves with the chair as it tilts). The knee angle can be adjusted from 0° to 40°, and the footrest can be conveniently folded completely out of the way to ensure safe, unhindered transfers. Sizes 0 & 1 Lower Leg Length: 11.8"–15.0" (30–38 cm). Sizes 2–4 Lower Leg Length: 13.8"–18.9" (35–48 cm). Note: Choose the Footrest size category that corresponds with the frame size chosen in Step 1.
Step 7: Add Pelvic Support / Seat Belt (Optional)
A quick-drying mesh fabric seat belt to secure the pelvis and prevent sliding, easily adjustable with a durable side-release buckle. Sizes Available: 11.8" (30cm), 19.7" (50cm), and 23.6" (60cm) lengths.
