Seatara
Seatara was founded by siblings Dr. Yoav Gabriely and Ruty Reuveni with a shared mission: to eliminate the physical and emotional hurdles that individuals with disabilities face when navigating non-accessible spaces. Leveraging Yoav’s PhD in mechanical engineering and robotics alongside Ruty’s extensive background as an industrial designer specializing in custom equipment for the disabled, the duo combined technical innovation with clinical insight. They recognized that a lack of accessible restrooms and showers often keeps individuals isolated, limiting their freedom to travel, vacation, or simply enjoy spontaneous outings with family and friends.
Driven to break through these mobility boundaries, Seatara underwent an intensive research and development process, collaborating directly with dozens of equipment users to understand their real-world, daily challenges. The brand focuses on creating highly innovative, lightweight, and completely collapsible toileting and showering solutions. By engineering chairs with unique wheel configurations, narrow frames, and tool-free folding capabilities, Seatara products allow users to navigate tight spaces, maximize privacy, and manage daily hygiene routines safely without requiring custom home modifications. Seatara’s mission is to empower individuals with the independence, safety, and confidence to explore the world and live without limitations.
