Thomashilfen is happy to introduce the Thomashilfen Hercules Small Booster Car Seat, a little brother to the Thomashilfen Hercules Prime Booster Car Seat. This specially engineered adaptive booster car seat not only adheres to the current safety standards, it is also designed to meet future anticipated requirements.

The Thomashilfen Hercules Small Booster Car Seat is for children, young people and small adults who weigh between 40 lbs. and 110 lbs. (18.1 and 50 kg) AND whose height is between 43.4 in. and 59 in. (110.1 and 150 cm). The user must always be secured with the Vehicle's 3-Point Safety Belt. Integrated 5-point harness provides positioning support only.

The Thomashilfen Hercules Small Booster Car Seat is equipped with Isofix (model Seatfix) LATCH. This is an internationally standardized fastening system for children’s car seats. Corresponding LATCH anchor points are firmly connected to the vehicle bodywork.* Children’s car/booster seats can be quickly and easily anchored in these standardized fixture points. In this way, the seat is safely secured in the vehicle, even when the child is not in it and does not have to be retained with the 3-point vehicle belt when not in use. .

*All standard vehicles sold in the USA in 2003 or later are required to have a LATCH system. Some vehicles older than this may have the LATCH system. You would need to verify within your own vehicle.

The Hercules booster car seat is designed to meet both the needs of the user and their care givers. It comes standard with a Seat Swivel Function with Lock. No more lifting up and over the side of the booster car seat. The seat turns clockwise (to the right) aligning the open front of the booster seat with the open door of the car (seat is placed behind the front passenger seat). The Tilting Function tips the seat up to 10 degrees (in 2.5-degree increments) to provide greater gravity assisted support for users with decreased trunk strength and control. The Hercules Small Booster Car Seat has a Depth-Adjustable Seat and an Angle and Height-Adjustable Backrest. Backrest can be continuously adjusted in height by 9.45 in. (24cm). Tool-free angle adjustment is also continuous from upright to 55 degrees recline using quick release clamps. Height and Width Adjustable Lateral Head Support Pads are independently adjustable. 5-Point Positioning Harness with Shoulder Pads and Crotch Pad help secure a well-aligned sitting position. Width Adjustable Hip and Leg Guides are stepless and individually adjustable to grow with the user and their changing support needs. Side Impact Protectors are tested according to the latest safety standard (R129). They absorb side impact forces in the head and shoulder region. If greater support is required, please refer to the accessory section for a variety of additional, optional supports.

Another great feature, the Hercules Small folds into a slim, easy-to-handle format. This not only simplifies installation in the car, but also ensures that the seat can be easily transported and stored in a space-saving manner even in limited trunk capacity.
