As long as the equipment is returned in new, re-saleable condition, within 30 days of the Return Authorization we will refund your original purchase cost without any re-stock fee!

**For the health and welfare of others, we regret that we cannot allow toileting or bathing/shower product returns because of sanitary and personal hygiene reasons. Some manufacturers will not permit returns on certain products. Due to the custom, hand-made nature of Beds by George products, beds and accessories are not returnable. Please check with Customer Service if you have any questions.

There are certain things you must do in the event of a return.

1) Keep your original carton and packing materials for safe transport! Please carefully repack the items in their original packaging so they are secure and tight inside the box. Utilize any plastic bags that came with your order - they protect items from vibration during shipping.

2) Contact us within 30 days of the receipt of the products. Email us or call us for return instructions and a Return Authorization number.

You must have a Return Authorization number to ensure that your return is processed.

Some important notes about returns:

You will be responsible for the return shipping cost. To protect yourself, use a delivery service that has a tracking # and insurance. A refund will not be given on merchandise that is lost by the carrier.

If you paid a shipping fee on your original order for expedited, international or other shipping it is Non-Refundable even upon return of your order.

Please note that returns may go back to a different location than they originated from. If you return an item to our warehouse in New York without a Return Authorization Number the cost we incur to ship the item to the manufacturer's warehouse on your behalf will be deducted from the amount of your credit, if any.

If the item cannot be made re-sellable you have the option of:

1. Paying to have the item delivered back to you.
2. Adjustment to credit for a 25% Disposal Fee.

The Rifton Activity Chair offers a wide variety of features and accessories, making it an option for most children with special needs. This positioning chair is for use in the classroom and at home. It enables children to learn functional sitting skills while they participate in activities at home and at school.

The Rifton Activity Chair offers No Tool Adjustment. With this feature, parents and care givers can adjust with the child in the chair. This time saving feature is beneficial to both parent and child. The child can rest comfortably in the Activity Chair while the parent makes a safe and secure adjustment.

The Rifton Activity Chair provides comfortable seating that adjusts to meet the child’s needs and growth. Easily removable accessories make the Rifton Activity Chair perfect for a growing child or multiple users.

Choices for the Rifton Activity Chair include the following:Spring Option – This allows the child to have user-initiated movement. It allows the chair to “bounce.” This bouncing can offer a self-calming effect for children, as well as allow “give” in the backrest for a child with extreme extensor tone.

Tilt-in-Space -- Tilt- in-Space is a built in feature. It moves the seat and backrest into a reclined, rest position from a forward, sitting position. The Standard Base offers backward tilt-in-space to 15 degrees and forward tilt-in-space to 15 degrees.

Pads -- Pads are for the backrest and seat. They are snapped onto studs on the edges of the backrest and seat. Colors available are Green, Purple, Pink, Blue, Tan and Red.

Legs -- There are several options included with the standard Rifton Activity Chair. The standard base offers 4 different types of legs: Short, Long, Short with Casters, Long with Casters. The highest floor to seat height varies with the selection of legs.

Short Legs – 16.5 inches

Short Legs with Casters – 20 inches

Long Legs – 23 inches

Long Legs with Casters – 23 inches

Please be advised that although Rifton doesn't require the optional Push Handles when adding the caster wheels, they do RECOMMEND purchasing them. The Push Handles are sold separately.
