The Rifton Pacer Chest Prompt is a padded support that holds the user’s torso securely at an angle of your choice. Adjustments are tool free. One knob allows you to adjust the tilt angle and the width of the Chest Prompt. These adjustments can be made while the user is in the gait trainer. The Chest Prompt has been designed to stay open while the user transfers in and out. This allows the caregiver and individual to focus on safety.

The Rifton Pacer Chest Prompt comes in three different sizes. Size Small accommodates range of chest circumference from 14-28 in. (35.6-71.1cm) with pad height of 4.5 in. (11.4cm). Size Medium accommodates range of chest circumference from 22- 40 in. (55.9-101.6cm) with pad height of 6.5 in. (16.5cm). Size Large accommodates range of chest circumference from 28- 50 in. (71.1-127cm) with pad height of 8 in. (20.3cm). The adjustability allows for a snug fit when an individual is learning to use the Pacer. As trunk strength and endurance improve, the prompt can be loosened to provide more of a prompt rather than a support. For individuals with good trunk control, the Chest Prompt can be moved down to hip level. The Chest Prompt is easily wiped clean and stays cool to the touch.

The Size Small Chest Prompt can be used on Size Mini, Small and Medium Pacers. The Size Medium Chest Prompt can be used on Size Small, Medium, Large and X-Large Pacers. The Size Large Chest Prompt can be used on Size Medium, Large and X-Large Pacers. See size chart tab below.
