Convaid Safari Harness Options

Optional 3-Point Positioning Belt with Depth Adjustable Crotch Strap is available for purchase as an upgrade from the 2-Point Positioning Belt that comes standard with the Convaid Safari. The 3-Point Positioning Belt improves the ability to maintain proper position of the pelvis and limits sliding forward in the chair.

Optional H-Harness with Padded Covers Plus 3-Point Positioning Belt with Depth Adjustable Crotch Strap provides postural support for the trunk and pelvis. The H-Harness provides the occupant with anterior trunk support to maintain upper body position and helps limit fatigue. The 3-Point Positioning Belt improves the ability to maintain proper position of the pelvis and limits sliding forward in the chair. Both are easy to disconnect for transfers. Please Note: The H-Harness and 3-Point Positioning belt are standard when the Transit Option of this Push Chair is ordered in Required Steps.

Optional Adjustable Full Torso Support Vest Plus 3-Point Positioning Belt with Depth Adjustable Crotch Strap should be purchased when aggressive trunk support is needed. It helps the user maintain correct midline upper body position, prevents slumping and assists with shoulder retraction (keeping shoulders back). The user is kept comfortably and securely in place. The vest is easily adjusted and detached. Please match Vest Size to the Frame Size of your Push Chair and choose fabric for Vest- Textilene or Cordura in black. The 3-Point Positioning Belt improves the ability to maintain proper position of the pelvis and limits sliding forward in the chair. Please Note: Transit models include the 3-Point Positioning Belt as a standard feature. ONLY the Vest is an upgrade.
