The Strider Rocking Base is designed for attachment to the Strider 12 Balance Bike and can be used for children under a year old and older. It helps to familiarize the youngest riders with getting on and off the bike, sitting on the bike and ROCKING. Gentle rocking stimulates the developing vestibular system which is located within the inner ear and responds to movement and gravity. This contributes to the development of balance, equilibrium, postural control, muscle tone, and maintaining a stable visual field while you are moving. All are important when it’s time to take the bike off the rocker base to start riding!
