There are certain things you must do in the event of a return.
1) Keep your original carton and packing materials for safe transport! Please carefully repack the items in their original packaging so they are secure and tight inside the box. Utilize any plastic bags that came with your order - they protect items from vibration during shipping.
2) Contact us within 30 days of the receipt of the products. Email us or call us for return instructions and a Return Authorization number.
You must have a Return Authorization number to ensure that your return is processed.
Some important notes about returns:
You will be responsible for the return shipping cost. To protect yourself, use a delivery service that has a tracking # and insurance. A refund will not be given on merchandise that is lost by the carrier.
If you paid a shipping fee on your original order for expedited, international or other shipping it is Non-Refundable even upon return of your order.
Please note that returns may go back to a different location than they originated from. If you return an item to our warehouse in New York without a Return Authorization Number the cost we incur to ship the item to the manufacturer's warehouse on your behalf will be deducted from the amount of your credit, if any.
If the item cannot be made re-sellable you have the option of:
1. Paying to have the item delivered back to you. 2. Adjustment to credit for a 25% Disposal Fee.

The New Rifton Wave Bathing & Transfer System is an improvement on the old Rifton Blue Wave Bath Chair System. Rifton listened to feedback from customers and therapists and made the seats wider and it now comes standard with a softer knit fabric to help protect the integrity of the user's skin.
The Rifton Wave Bathing & Transfer System can be used in four different configurations:
Free standing bath chair - offers support for safety and positioning during a soaking bath
Tub base (sold separately) - raises the seat height to the height of the edge of most tubs to prevent caregivers from having to lift up and down in the the tub. The Tub Stand raises the bath chair either 5½" or 11½" higher in the tub depending on the position of the tub stand legs.
Shower base (sold separately) - roll the user from their bed into a shower stall, no need for multiple transfers
Tub transfer base (sold separately) provides for safe transfers in and out of the tub instead of having to do a costly bathroom renovation to put in a shower stall. The optional Tub, Shower and Transfer Bases adjust without tools and each base fits all three sizes of Wave Bath Chairs!
The Back recline adjustment can be done with one hand. This makes it simple to do mid-bath if a change of the user's position is needed. The backrest adjusts from flat to 75° in 6 increments. The Seat angle adjustment has two small levers under the seat that you engage to adjust the seat surface angle. The seat adjusts from flat to 75° in 6 increments. If you choose to purchase the Optional Calf Rest, there are two button on either side of the hinge that you depress to adjust the Calf Rest angle. The calf rest adjusts separately from the seat in 15° increments – making it possible to make it flat or adjust it to 90°, or an angle in between.The Wave is the only bath chair with separate seat and calf rest adjustments. That means you can comfortably position the user with just the right hip and leg angle.
With the Wave Bath Chair, you get your choice of Chest Strap for safety. The simplest is the Chest Strap. This secures around the user with hook and loop. The height of the Chest Strap can be adjust along the seat back to get it at the right height at chest level. The other Chest Strap option has Lateral Positioning. This version has an additional strap on either side of the chest to help maintain the body in the middle of the chair if the user tends to lean to one side.
There are additional accessories that help to provide better positioning of the user without impeding the ability to wash the user.
NOTE: The Calf Rest must be ordered at the time the chair is purchased. It cannot be added later on! Therefore, if you think you may want to use a base in the future, consider ordering the Calf Rest now!
