Melissa Richardson, PT, MS

Melissa Richardson has a dual BS/MS degree in Physical Therapy from D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York. She also has a BA degree in psychology from Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, West Virginia. Her clinical experience has been in pediatrics, primarily with school-age children. She has worked as a physical therapist product consultant for the Adaptivemall.com since 2005.

Melissa has a knowledge base and access to professional resources that make this process easier. Although she is a licensed physical therapist, she cannot act in the capacity of the child’s therapist(s). Collaboration with caretakers and healthcare professionals who know the child best helps Melissa gain in-depth knowledge of the child’s medical history and abilities. Addressing and impacting how a child functions at home, school, etc. is her ultimate goal.
